What to Expect!
The Florence City History Tour takes you through the charming and picturesque downtown core of Florence featuring highlights of the Tennessee River, the Florence Indian Mound Museum, the University of North Alabama, the W.C. Handy Home & Museum, the Rosenbaum House by Frank Lloyd Wright, First Presbyterian Church, Pope's Tavern & Museum and the U.S. Post Office
This tour only stops at the Rosenbaum House, the Florence Indian Mound and Pope's Tavern & Museum. Admission into these attractions is included in the price of the tour
The cost of The Florence City History Tour is $42.00 for Adults (18 and over)
$35.00 for children/seniors (Children - Ages 10-17/Seniors- 65 and older)
Seniors - please present a driver's license, AARP card or other form of ID with birthdate
To operate the tour, there must be at least TWO (2) paying guests. If there are less than TWO (2) paying guests, you will receive a full refund from the front desk at the Visitor Center
The tour departs at 9:00 AM on Tuesday and Thursday. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. The tour is approximately 2 hours in length
The tour will depart from the Florence-Lauderdale Visitor Center at 200 Jim Spain Drive, Florence, AL 35630 in McFarland Park. Guests will board at the east side of the building on the semi-circle driveway
