2025 Florence World Series

Welcome to Florence, AL and The Shoals area! This site has been created to allow your team to book accommodations at one of our partner properties for the World Series tournaments taking place from July 31 through August 9, 2025

The City of Florence and the Florence-Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to host both the Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken World Series Tournaments this coming July and August at the Florence Sportsplex!

We would ask that you make your reservations directly with the hotels listed below. All contracts for hotel reservations will be between you (or your team) and the hotel.

Here are a few things you need to know before you make your reservations:

Our World Series is a stay-to-play event; therefore, you must book a room in one of our host hotels and book directly with the hotel to be eligible to play in the tournament.

Once you meet the 7 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT you may check out prior to August 9th if you choose. You will need to give the hotel a 24 hour notice that you will be checking out early.

PAYMENT WILL BE MADE AT THE HOTEL AT THE TIME OF THE STAY.

To request your group block, ONE person from the team will request a block for the team. Be sure to communicate that to the hotel when you contact their sales representative.
