Emily Daniel & Jack Settle LIVE at Birdy's
This event has expired and is here for your information.
Emily Daniel is a singer-songwriter with a timeless classic country sound. Music has always been a part of her life and she learned to sing with her family in the car practicing four-part harmony and singing Carpenters songs together. Emily grew up listening to music from the 50’s and 60’s and artists like Patsy Cline, June Carter, Loretta Lynn, Patti Page, Skeeter Davis and Johnny Cash heavily influence her writing style.
After living abroad in Honduras for a year and achieving a teaching degree in Spanish from Harding University, she moved to Nashville in 2010. In 2011, she founded and has grown a local business that teaches conversational Spanish to adults called Speak Spanish Nashville.
After several years of living in Nashville she was bit by the music bug once again and began learning ukulele, guitar and the craft of songwriting. After the death of her father in 2017 and a cross-country two month road trip in a vintage Airstream to re-calibrate, she was led to change career paths and pursue music full-time and is taking it one day at a time.
Emily believes that with hard work, an open heart and conviction it is never too late to pursue your dream or to learn something new!
She is currently writing her first album and performing her own songs inspired by and based on her own life.

Jack Settle is a country singer/songwriter hailing from Bartlesville, Oklahoma. After a virus left one of his ears almost completely deaf in 2017, he felt called to pursue music while he still could. Settle graduated from high school in 2018 and immediately moved to Nashville.
In his lyrics, you will find his stories of love, heartbreak, peace, balance, and freedom. In his instrumentation, you will hear electric guitar anthems and acoustic ballads collide. Settle describes his style as “Country with a side of Southern Rock, dipped in Americana sauce”.
