Check yourself in with the lockbox. Did you ever want to hang your hat in a rustic cottage by the creek? Well, welcome to the Farm House, where our goal is to help you refresh yourself and enjoy the great outdoors. Just a short shaded walk from Second Creek and literally a few yards from Joe Wheeler State Park, you will find everything you need. Relax on a comfy quilted bed, lounge on the couch, or take a restful respite on the front porch, we are sure you will be pleased with our quiet country vacation home. The space Just yards from Joe Wheeler State Park Second Creek public boat ramp, and with plenty of room to park your boat, this is truly a fisherman's paradise. Splash in the cool water of Second Creek, take a bike ride, or hop in the kayak and head up stream where you'll see all manner of wildlife. At the Farm House there are hook-ups for your boat, a custom built charcoal grill, trees for your hammock, and a large shaded lot. We really want you to have a good stay, and do everything we can to make that happen. We enjoy providing what makes for a great stay on the creek, including kayaks, life jackets, and paddles. Although our Farmhouse is adorably rustic in decor, it is packed with all the amenities you could wish for including on demand water heater, central heat & air, satellite TV, washer & dryer, fresh towels & linens, and just about anything else you need to make your stay pleasant. You will be glad you stayed at the Farmhouse on Second Creek, so book your stay before our calendar fills up. Blessings from my family to yours. Guest access Entire house & 1 wooded acres. Interaction with guests My family and I are only 5 minutes away, so please feel free to give us a call with any questions. Other things to note 2 adult & 2 youth kayaks, full size canoe, life jackets, & paddles available free of charge upon request, but please understand this is affected by weather conditions and my availability. If you have a way of transporting them yourself, such as a truck or SUV, you’re welcome to them your entire stay. If you need me to bring them down to the water for you and pick them up, I’m usually available after 3 PM Monday through Friday & all day Saturday.
