The day starts bright and early at Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville. This beautiful park offers stunning views of the Tennessee River, along with excellent hiking trails and opportunities for fishing and bird watching. The sunrise and morning ambiance is sure to be a perfect start for a day packed with fun exploration!

Killen: Market Finds & Mini Golf Fun

Next, head on over to Killen for a visit to the Killen Farmers Market. Open every Saturday morning and Tuesday afternoon from April through September, the market is a great place to pick up fresh, local produce and handmade goods.

After exploring the market, enjoy a fun round of mini golf at Killen Time Mini Golf and Adventure Park, where you’ll find two courses, a retro arcade, gem mining, go-karts, laser tag, and more!

Florence: Breakfast & Riverside Relaxation

A short drive into Florence and you’ll find the perfect refuel spot, Rivertown Coffee Co., known for their delicious breakfast sandwiches and of course, the coffee! After breakfast, take a leisurely stroll through Wilson Park, featuring its beautiful fountain, a statue of W.C. Handy, and decorative plaques.

Next, explore the historic University of North Alabama with its stunning fountain and beautiful landscaping. Continue your morning at McFarland Park, right along the Tennessee River! Enjoy the beach, swings, walking trails, and the picturesque view of the O’Neill Bridge.

After lunch, head to Riverfront Park for a relaxing afternoon. The secluded park area sits by the iconic Cypress Moon Studios and features walking paths, picnic areas, and stunning river views.

Muscle Shoals: Nature & History

In Muscle Shoals, visit Wilson Dam and the Wilson Dam Waterfall! From the TVA Walking Trails, simply head north on Reservation Road through the TVA Reservation, following signs to Wilson Dam. This impressive cascade offers breathtaking views, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts and casual onlookers alike. Plus, you can catch a glimpse of the Renaissance Tower from the trail!

Tuscumbia: Parks, History, & Scenic Drives
