Cottonwood Farm & Grocery, located in downtown Florence, is offering a festive wine tasting experience on December 21st from 5-7pm, featuring selections from California vineyards. Featured wines include: German Mulled Wine, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Francis Coppola's Claret. Ensure you partake in this captivating night filled with both wine and the joyous spirit of the holidays!
Holly Jolly Christmas Trolley at Tuscumbia Railways Roundhouse
The Holly Jolly Christmas Trolley arrives in Tuscumbia on December 21st at 5:30 PM! This sing-a-long ride will journey through downtown, include activities for the kids, a free Christmas book, and a snack! Admission is free and open to the public!
Winter Art Market at Tennessee Valley Museum of Art
The Winter Art Market will continue its festive offerings until Saturday, December 23rd. With over sixty artists and artisans from across the Southeast, explore and shop for the perfect holiday gifts or treat yourself to unique creations! TVMA hours during the event are Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, tickets are priced at $5 for adults, $3 for students, and complimentary entry for TVAA members.
Downtown Stroll Through Florence
Take a leisurely stroll through the charming downtown Florence area adorned with twinkling lights and seasonal decorations. Many local shops may stay open later, offering a chance for some last-minute holiday shopping!
First Day Hike Winter Wonderland at Joe Wheeler State Park
From 9-11 am on January 1st, gather in the Lodge Lobby for a coffee session and a brief orientation before embarking on the hike. Accompany Park Naturalist, Jennings Earnest along the Champion Trail (1 mile), ushering in the new year in a winter wonderland! Feel free to bring your furry friends along; however, ensure they are leashed at 6 feet or shorter! This event is free, but donations to support Joe Wheeler State Park are always welcomed and appreciated. Lace up your hiking boots, grab your coffee, and join us for a memorable kickstart to the year surrounded by nature's wonders!
