| Arts Alive - Stroll through hundreds of art booths as you take in the fragrant mist of spring at Wilson Park during the Arts Alive weekend in Florence, Alabama. An annual juried art competition, Arts Alive allows competivite artists to compete for top prizes, while at the same time allowing amateurs to display their works. Many different items are for sale during this event, including those works which are judged. | The 1st Annual Florence, Alabama Sweet Tea Challenge is set to take place on July 26, 2008 as an official event in the W.C. Handy Music Festival.
